We think this is a good looking (aging gracefully) Barbara Eden at the Queens event last night (Whoopi and Lady GaGa were also there), but if that is Larry Hagman with her then he has some damm good work done.
Contentious exchanges between White House press secretaries and members of the media have been fairly commonplace during the past few presidential administrations. However, the one that took place Wednesday between White House press secretary Robert Gibbs and April Ryan of American Urban Radio, in which Gibbs essentially compared Ryan to a petulant child, is among the most heated (and entertaining) in recent memory. The testy exchange was sparked by Ryan's insistent questioning of White House social secretary Desiree Rogers' role at the recent state dinner, which has been in the headlines because of the fallout from Tareq and Michaele Salahi's "party crashing." Ryan claimed that there have been whispers around Washington insinuating that Rogers had overstepped the traditional role of her title at the event to become the "belle of the ball," thus "overshadowing the first lady." Frustrated by Ryan's tabloid-y line of questioning, Gibbs instructed her to "calm down" and to take a deep breath," adding "I do this with my son and that's what happens." As the press corps cringed, murmured and chuckled at Gibbs' chastising, Ryan shot back: "Don't play with me." Watch, AFTER THE JUMP
Watch Carrie on The View where she offers her typical defense.
Watch Carrie on Larry King Live where (agast) I think I'm in agreement with how she shut down Larry who would not give up on pushing her. I have to admire a strong woman even though I Do not agree with her views.
Check out this song which was recorded as part of Bedtime Stories in 1994 but later cut and then developed by a different Artist. Listen, AFTER THE JUMP
According to Radar.com Mischa Barton was dressed as a peacock, the former OC star was getting beverages for her group at New York's The Park Bar in Chelsea when a partygoer threw a drink on her. "I was standing beside this guy at the bar when Barton went past us carrying two drinks," an onlooker told RadarOnline.com. "The next thing I knew he threw his drink over her back and she turned around and asked him: "Did you just throw a drink over me?" The man responded that the drink was in retaliation for Barton stepping on his shoe. Barton returned to her table (supposedly after she gave the guy a taste of his own medicine and "threw one of her drinks" in his face) and told her friends of the incident. One especially incensed pal went up to the drink thrower. Within a few minutes one of her male friends came over to confront the guy and asked him to step-outside. Barton's friend left but then he kept coming back every few minutes to complain." Allegedly, things heated up from there and the two men ended up fighting one another on the dance floor before two bouncers came over and ejected the instigator from the club. The original drink thrower didn't go unscathed leaving with "a gash to his head and his knee was all cut up." And of course a shoe stepped on by a Hollywood actress.
